mo TheFace| My First Official Blog Post

Hey fabulous faces, and beauty lovers!  Welcome to my little blogga space/website/addiction outlet!  I hope all is well, and your lipsticks and blushes are poppin'! So today is my first official blog post!  Yaaaaay!!  But It's nothing fancy just a few words talking about myself and what will be going on over on these parts.

My name is Monique, but most of you may know me as holmique from the YT.
I'm a mom, wife, entrepreneur and beauty agent(I like that, haha).  I'm also a freelance makeup artist on and off, but that will be changing very soon.  I have a beauty vlog on YouTube, and this is my third attempt at beauty blogging *sighs*  It's hard for a blogga y'all!  But the third time is the charm right?  What I conveniently forgot to mention is that I'm a makeup addict, a product junkie, a cosmetic fiend; full-fledged, certified and verified!!  My overflowing Alex drawers can prove it...ain't no shame in my game!

This blog will definitely be an extension of my YouTube channels moTheFace, and holmique(I'm slowly phasing out this as a beauty channel).  I will be posting makeup swatches and reviews, beauty tips, hauls, FOTD(face of the day), fashion and lifestyle content.  But pretty much every thing beauty related for the most part, with a splash of "other" things.  I also don't discriminate, I love cheap thrills and high-end spends.  So I'll be posting about everything, be it a $1 lipstick or a $50 blush!  I'll also be reviewing and/or swatching products I already own.  I think that's important especially because there are new faces discovering makeup everyday, and us junkies  enthusiasts want to see everything!  Plus, who has all the makeup in the world?  Wait...maybe Temptalia?  LOL!  So I'll post about what I already own along with what's new, on trend, and/or limited edition.

I don't have a writing/blogging style yet, but most of my posts will be laid back and informative.  Most of my picture compositions will have a background setup, to give off a certain "mood" or have bold, on trend and/or "seasonally" inspired colors.  While I like the crisp white look, I bore easily so I just can't do that, unless it's called for.

My blog  is a work in progress, so it will be changing and adjusting based on my needs and what I see fit, so don't be surprised if things look a bit different on your next visit.  You know what? ... Let me stop here before this turns into a book, if not already!  That's it for now, talk to you soon.
