NARS Audacious Lipstick Swatches: GERALDINE, CLAUDIA, DOMINIQUE

HOW DEAR THE AUDACITY OF THESE FREAKIN' LIPSTICKS... TO BE SO. DAMN. AMAZING!!!

Hey boo thangs!! You guys missed me? I missed y'all too, and I won't say I'm back...yet. One day at a time, right? hehehe! But I had to pass through, finally!  To show these lipsticks some love, after hoarding them since they were released...sigh

All I have to say is these are amazing, they are like pillows on my lips.  They last well over six hours on my lips; leaving just a light pretty stain. I'm in love, and can't wait to get my "paws" on some more.  They cost $32 a piece and have .14oz or 4.2g, typical lipsticks are usually about .12oz, including the original nars lipsticks.

They come packaged in a smooth, sleek black box with the product name on top and the NARS log written on the front.  The casing also features a snap/magnetic closure, and has a velvet-like texture with the NARS logo written around the square tube.  The lipsticks also has the NARS logo embossed on the bullets. 

There are 40 shades available.  Though some are exclusive to certain retailers.

And I agree 100%!!! Yes maam!

• Geraldine is a vibrant, tangerine color.  Of the three lipsticks it was the least opaque, but still very rich, creamy and vibrant.  It lasted on my lips for about five hours, with a slight stain after wear-down.  It had full pigmentation, but was more satin-like compared to the others.   I found I didn't need a balm underneath; it was comfortable to wear without drying my lips.  Geraldine actually felt quite moisturizing.
• Claudia is a bright, blue-based pink.  It lasted on my lips for about six and a half hours, with a slight rose color stain after wear-down.  It had full pigmentation, with a cream finish.   I found I didn't need a balm underneath; it was comfortable to wear without drying my lips.
• Dominique  is a cool based, mid-tone purple.  It lasted on my lips for about seven hours, and left a berry hued stain after wear-down.  This is my favorite color of the three.  It had full pigmentation, with a rich cream finish.  I found I didn't need a balm underneath; it was comfortable to wear without drying my lips.

The moral of the story is... Get AUDACIOUS, or some of it!  I have nothing even half-way bad to say about these, well maybe the price...but I love them!!!
