OCC Cosmetic Colour Pencil | Anti-Feathered, Pool Boy, Hoochie

Now on to the real business.  OCC was kind enough to give us(press attendees at The Makeup Show, LA Pre-Event) these fabulous colour pencils, along with some other goodies!  These are the newly released, and new to OCC, Cosmetic Colour Pencil. 

OCC says: "The latest addition to the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics range. Define & refine your look with COSMETIC COLOUR PENCILS. These multi-use pencils are a direct response to an overwhelming demand for a complimentary product to accent the look and wear of Lip Tar, as well expanding our ever growing range of multi-use products. Available in 12 long-wearing shades, ranging from essential neutrals to striking vivids!!"

These pencils have 0.04oz of product, which is about standard for most brands.   They cost $16, these are definitely not cheap but they are competitively priced for a mid-range brand.  They are the typical "sharpen" type pencils.  There are 12 colours in the range.  And most of them are bold, bright and bossy, just like OCC's Lip Tars. 

Both of these lasted over 4 hours, worn as a full lip color.  And over 5 hours worn as liner. They are comfortable to wear, creamy, and easy to apply.  I also had no problems with layering, but I didn't need to, I only had to swipe once to get the full, true color.  They are, however, easily removed with an oil based product or makeup remover. 

What I also love about these is that they(only some) are safe to be used on the eyes and body.  Talk about a win-win....win situation, right?  I've only used Pool Boy on my eyes so far, and it lasted about 4 hours in my waterline... for me that is really good!!

• Pool Boy is a neon-like aqua blue, with a matte finish (OCC-aquatic blue)

*Quick Tip: Use Anti-Feathered around your brows 
to prevent your color from shifting or smudging throughout the day.   

*Got a fake beauty mark you want to last all day? 
Use Anti-Feathered around/under/top of the mark to keep it sexy all day!
*Don't forget the colored brows trend, these are ideal for that too.

The OCC "Anti-Feathered" pencil is just that...a pencil that helps to keep your lip liner, lipstick, and Lip Tars from feathering.  It makes sure they don't spill over your lip lines, and it helps a lot with lip products that bleed.  This is the first one I've tried, and so far, so good!  

I'd advise not to use this product all over your lips, as it makes it quite hard to apply your lip product.  If you look at the lip swatch of Pool Boy you can see at the lower right portion of my lip where I tried to take Anti-Feathered down a bit more; it was hard to apply the pencil over it.  Anti-Feathered lasted for about 7 hours.

I really like these pencils!  They are creamy, bold and long wearing.  At $16, give a one or two a shot, you'll get a lot of wear because they are so pigment rich! And if you are more into neutrals or "everyday" colors, they have those too.  I do wish they were the automatic kind though, so I took some points off.
