Shea Moisture Mandaly Dusk | IIluminating Powder

This.....Illuminator.....Is.....HEAVEN.....sent! I don't think I need to say anymore... Bye! Okay, I'm kidding...not about the heaven sent part though!
As I mentioned in my previous post, see HERE.  Shea Moisture recently released their new makeup line at Target(only select locations so far).  And I grabbed this, amongst other items.  The prices are also pretty comparable to other drugstore brands.  You can check HERE to see their store locator for products.

Mandaly Dusk has .34oz of product and cost $12.99.  It's a pressed illuminating powder that has a soft, satin finish.  It's a rich, ruddy, bronze-brown color.  It was smooth, though tightly packed.  It was easy to blend and apply, and lasted about 10 hours before any noticeable fading.  Though this is an illuminator I was able to shade and contour with no problems.  This is ideal for medium-dark to deep skintones.  I think it will show more "illumination" on deeper skin tones, but can still be used in multiple ways(bronzer, luminzer, contour etc.).  If you are on the lighter side, don't be scared, the texture is smooth enough to be diffused with little effort.  Also using the included brush, a fan or stippling brush will lay on less product.

The compact features a deep-brown color and has a velvet-like texture.  It has a clear, flip-top so you can easily see the product.  There is also a mirror and a brush, housed under the actual powder, with breathables holes on the bottom of the compact. The brush is pretty decent, and during testing is what I used.  The product name, and other info is also written on the back.

Mandaly Dusk used as contour, under cheekbone and on eye crease

The color of  this product is quite lacking in the cosmetic market, so it's highly welcomed by us.  Because brown girls...do bronze!

A+
